It’s important to shop
local. If you support your community business, they can bring you the food and
services that represent Baltimore. The exciting part is that local shops often
have everything you need—from specially made cups of coffee to a brand-new
summer wardrobe. Here are a couple opportunities to show your local Harbor East
businesses some love.
Harbor East Summer Sidewalk Sale
Have you been saving
up all summer? Or maybe you need to shop the stress away. Whatever it is, now
is the time to treat yourself to Harbor East’s Summer
Sidewalk Sale! Shop in style on Sunday, July 28 from noon to 4 p.m. on
Harbor East’s featured
local shops include Modern Trousseau, South Moon Under, Sassanova, Charm City
Run, Curiosity, and more. Each retailer will be opening their doors with sales
and promotions to make your shopping day unforgettable.
Between deals, you get
to stroll down the street, while listening to live music by Ebb & Nova and
enjoying a complementary Kona Ice snowball. There will even be food and
cocktails from Roy’s Baltimore. Turn a simple shopping run into a
festival-style day out.
RSVP on the event
Facebook page for free parking and more information.
Maryland Tax-free Week
Need more shopping
after the Sidewalk Sale? Save a little money on your shopping with Maryland
Tax-free week. From Aug. 11 to 17, all qualifying apparel
and footwear $100 or less, per item, will not include sales tax. This is the
perfect opportunity to head to the shops in Harbor East and get that item you
