There are so many things to discover in Baltimore. From poolside yoga to concerts in the city, there is an event for everyone. Get out and about and enjoy the summer days with these events near you!
Spend the 4th in Your City
Grab your friends and head out to these events on the Fourth
of July. Who knows? Maybe it will become a tradition.
Hosted by Sandlot is the Dogfish Head Takeover, featuring a perfect view of the fireworks with craft beers and food vendors. Not to mention the live music and games you can enjoy all day. The Dogfishhead beers they will be featuring are Namaste White, Slighty Mighty, and SeaQuench. This event is from 2 to 11 p.m. and is a $10 cover for adults and $5 cover for kids 12 and under.
Red, White, and Zoo
The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore presents Red, White, and Zoo. All day, animals will be receiving special Fourth of July treats including “fishcicles.” This event is free with zoo admission!
Pets on Parade
At the American Visionary Art Museum is the pet parade and talent show. All kinds of pets come in their best American costumes and show off their American pride. The parade begins at 9 a.m. and showcases all kinds of critters. Following is the talent show, where owners show off their pet’s unique skills. This event is free and open to the public.
From 8 to 10 p.m. is Independence YAY at Bond Street Social. With a view of the fireworks from their patio, Bond Street Social is presenting a night of cocktails and beer. With your $17.76 ticket comes an open bar and small bite specials.
Rye on the River
The Sagamore Pendry Baltimore presents Rye on the River, an event that includes live entertainment, cocktails, and a fourth of July celebration. Stop in from 4 to 9 p.m. to enjoy this waterfront bar and restaurant.

fit and active this summer, and neither has the City of Baltimore. Check out
these events that were made to excite your active side.
Wellness Crawl and Festival
On July 13, Merrit Clubs bring you the Wellness Crawl and Festival at Harbor Point. Experience local businesses, local fitness people, and local professionals at this festival-style event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Also at the Sagamore Pendry each Saturday, is Poolside Yoga. From 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., join BeachFit’s instructors on Saturdays for yoga flow. Drop in classes are $20.
Can’t get enough yoga? Each Sunday, drop into the Sandlot for sunset yoga. Beginning at 7:30 p.m., prime golden-hour time, join local yoga teacher Emily Fleming in an alignment-based class for all yoga levels. After, enjoy a beer, wine, or non-alcoholic drink and put your toes in the sand.
The Sandlot also presents Brick Bodies Boozy Bootcamp on June 29. At 10 a.m., Brick Bodies’ personal trainers will be leading a workout that you won’t forget. After the class, enjoy a beer or wine. Tickets are $10.

Point, and Harbor Pont have events for you.
Tacos and Taps
On June 29, is the Tacos and Taps festival. This Mexican style festival presents all you can taste Beer and tequila, tacos, music, margaritas, pinatas and more all at Harbor Point Central Plaza.
“Al Fresco” on Main Street
On the first Wednesday of the month, from June to September, head down to Fells Point for “Al Fresco” on Main Street. This event includes shopping and dining with outdoor performances and stores. Each week features a different street and a different region from Al Fresco Italiano to Al Fresco Athens.
Little Italy Food Tour
Bite of Baltimore premier food tours presents the Little Italy Food Tour. On Sunday, July 28, enjoy restaurants in Little Italy that are preparing their best dishes and wine parings. From Germano’s Piattini to Angeli’s Pizzeria, you will get a taste of Baltimore’s most authentic Italian food.
Can You Canton?
It’s hard to get enough of the beautiful Canton Waterfront Park. Here are a few events that you can’t miss.
Baltimore Water Lantern Festival
On July 6, gather in the Canton Waterfront Park to send a
lantern across the water. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., join other members of the
community as they light up the Baltimore harbor with lanterns decorated with
goals, dreams, love for those lost, visions and much more.
On first Thursdays through September, enjoy music at the Canton Waterfront Park. First Thursdays begin at 5 p.m. and offer the community a free night of music, local food, and beverage stands. July’s line-up includes Van Hunt, Fat Possum Records, Soccer Mommy and more. Festivals are rain or shine.
Are you Down to go Downtown?
Make your way to the heart of Baltimore to participate in
these exciting events.
On July 26, Billy Joel is performing at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Grab a front seat to an American Classic, right in the middle of Birdland. Start time is 8 p.m. Ticket Prices Vary.
From July 19-21 is Baltimore’s Artscape. This festival-style event takes place along Mount Royal Avenue and Charles Street and includes a headline by R&B vocal group Sisters With Voices. This year, the 38th annual festival presents the theme: Discover, inspired by the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. Join the art community starting at 11 a.m. for local art vendors, displays, performances, films, and more.
